Vishnumaya
Born and raised in Kerala, this multi-talented Deaf individual possesses a plethora of skills. Despite facing the same challenges as many other Deaf individuals, including a lack of access to quality education, she has persevered and worked hard to become a teacher of the Deaf.
We had the pleasure of welcoming her to our school for a three-week program in November 2022, and again in February 2023. Her dedication and passion for teaching have led her to stay with us as a trainee teacher, eager to continue learning through practical experience.
Her presence has had a profound impact on our school and the students. She has quickly become a popular role model for our young students and has inspired many to strive for excellence every day.
We are honored to have her as part of our team, and we look forward to seeing the many great things she will continue to accomplish as a teacher of the Deaf in years to come. She has no interest in going through the regular teacher training for the HI and thinks that is just a drama where either wrong or no skill is imparted and that is what have failed herself in school education. We respect such views and value as genuine deaf experience.
Neha Rajpoot
Neha had been planning to volunteer with us for quite some time, and we were delighted to welcome her in October 2022. In addition to her aim of learning and imparting education and training, she also got involved with our students, training them in areas such as health and hygiene, social and behavioral skills, science vs. religion, relationships, and health.
Neha proved to be a valuable asset to our organization, and our students quickly grew to love her. Her dedication and commitment to our mission were evident in everything she did, and we were sad to see her go when her volunteer term ended.
Our students were particularly fond of Neha, and they expressed their disappointment at her departure. She truly left a positive and lasting impact on our school and the students, and we are immensely grateful for her contribution to our mission
